Dr. Nicholas completed a post doctoral program in Periodontics & Dental Implants at Loma Linda University in 1992. Dr. Nicholas also completed a comprehensive residency at the Misch Implant Institute. Dr. Nicholas teaches other doctors inside and outside her practice. She utilizes her extensive training and experience to treat even the most challenging dental situations.

She has been delivering cosmetic, implant and functional solutions to clients for over 17 years. Her commitment to “doing it right” and ability to “handle just about anything” has won her the admiration of clients and other doctors. Dr. Nicholas uses her expertise to prevent big problems from ever happening.

She has been helping clients so they can enjoy eating and smiling again with dental implants ever since starting her practice. In addition, she has developed special techniques in sedation dentistry for the fearful client. All treatment is performed in the same office. This, combined with advanced techniques, allow even the most compromised individual to return to a life of enjoying dental health.

Dr. Nicholas also offers her patients the option of being sedated during treatment so that patients have little or no memory of the surgery when both long or short procedures are performed. In a quest to find a more complete way of caring for her patients dental needs her practice has evolved into a multi-specialty dental group which encompasses most of the specialties in dentistry. The specialists in her office work as a team to provide patients a co-ordinated and comprehensive treatment plan all in one office. She also has created in her facility a special room dedicated for educational & training purposes.

For the benefit of her clients, advanced learning and the implementation of new technologies at the leading edge of dentistry is a constant for Dr. Nicholas and her team of professionals. As a Board Certified prosthodontist, Dr. Pamela MacPherson is a specialist in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, and an expert in treating complex dental problems. She started her advanced education with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from UCSD before earning her dental degree from UCLA School of Dentistry. Afterward, while completing her Certificate in Advanced Prosthodontics, she demonstrated her mastery by becoming Chief Resident at the Veterans Administration Hospital in West Los Angeles. Dr. MacPherson is a former UCLA faculty member and is currently a volunteer instructor for the Prosthodontics Residency Program at the VA hospital in West Los Angeles. Her love of learning, which has persisted throughout her career, shows in the meticulous and conscientious attention she gives to each patient.

Dr. MacPherson is exceptional at restoring esthetics and function, and understands the dynamics of a smile and how it relates to the face. She can provide solutions for patients who need to realign their bite, need tooth replacement, or just desire a beautiful smile. From patients who need single tooth replacement, to those who need oral reconstruction due to mouth trauma or oral cancer, they can rely on her to create a natural-looking smile.

Dr. MacPherson is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Society, Academy of Osseointegration, and the San Diego Prosthodontists Society.

Dr. Karna is practicing dentistry in California since1992. He practiced in San Francisco for 2 years and then relocated to Southern California. Dr. Karna has been working as a team with Dr. Nicholas since 1994.

Dr. Karna continues to enhance his skills with advanced continuing education courses and he uses the newest technologies to help patients achieve dental health. Dr. Karna emphasizes a holistic approach towards dental treatment. He practices all phases of general dentistry including, but not limited to, cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, removable and fixed prosthodontics, minor oral surgery, and endodontics.

Dr. Karna is involved in various community projects and activities, and donates his time and services to various nonprofit organizations. He is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Indian Dental Association and the Orange County Implant Dentistry Study Club.

Office Manager
Angelique is the office manager for Dr. Anne Nicholas and Associates. Her job is to make sure that our office runs smoothly and efficiently so that we can provide the top quality care to our patients that they deserve! Angelique attended college in Michigan. She is a Certified Dispute Resolution Mediator. Angelique is also a CPR/AED first response care provider. Angelique brings over 20 years of dental expertise including assisting the Dr’s, treatment planning, patient education, insurance billing, financial consulting with patients, and managing a team of dedicated employees.

Angelique was born and raised in Michigan. She moved to Southern California in May of 2007! Angeliuqe and her husband enjoy living in a community that has so much to offer! In her spare time she enjoys acting, modeling, bowling, and exploring the world around her.

Dental hygienist
Before Andrea became a dental hygienist she served in the United States Army as an Intelligence Analyst. After three years of service, she attended Dental Assisting School. Andrea truly enjoyed working with patients in the dental field and decided to advance her career. She received her Dental Hygiene license after attending San Joaquin Valley College in Rancho Cucamonga.

Andrea’s first priority is her patient’s comfort. She is always focused on providing thorough, but gentle cleaning. Andrea is enthusiastic about her profession and deeply cares about her patients dental health. She likes to educate patients about the value of good oral hygiene as the foundation for long term oral health. Andrea ensures that every patient receives a thorough, yet gentle periodontal maintenance cleaning and assists them in the proper use of the latest home care products. Patients really appreciate Andrea’s confidence and knowledge of dentistry and her caring and gentle touch.

Andrea grew up in Providence , Rhode Island. She relocated to Banning, CA eight years ago to be closer to her husband’s family. She has two children, and raises chickens and ducks in her spare time. She enjoys camping and traveling with her family.
 

Surgical and Restorative Assistant
Jami is a Board Certified Registered Dental assistant. She graduated from the ROP Dental program in June of 2000. After being in general and cosmetic dentistry for over six years she moved into oral surgery and finished her State Boards and became Certified in oral and maxial facial surgery and to assist in anesthesia. Jami enjoys working with people. Her goal is to make your experience in our office as comfortable as possible and to answer any questions or concerns you may have. She ensures patients are well cared for throughout their procedure. Jami assists in most of the surgeries and takes care of patients and their post operative visits. Her experience combined with a strong sense of compassion make her a valuable component to our dental team.

Jami has lived in the Coachella Valley since the age of five. Aside from work Jami’s favorite things to do are spending time with her husband of ten years Drew and their three children Joni 14, Briana 10, and little Drew 8. They enjoy going to The River and being outdoors.

Dottie enjoys the dental profession, especially caring for patients and making sure their needs are met. Dottie is very enthusiastic and lends a helping hand whenever and wherever it is needed. She has a positive attitude and always wears a smile.

Dottie grew up in Southern Maryland and moved to Southern California in 1998. Dottie and her husband with their three children enjoy the outdoors.
 

Front Office Specialist
I am 24 years old and was born and raised in Blythe, CA and am recently engaged, planning a May 2011 wedding. I enjoy outdoor adventures like hiking, snowboarding, going on desert rides and going boating on the Colorado River. I have worked dental front office for over 6 1/2 years and am always happy to answer any questions you may have and get you scheduled for an appointment.
